Weight Loss Program

Your healthy weight loss program is not just to look good. You should not be trying to lose weight just to feel good, to fit into some clothes, boost your self esteem or for a myriad of reasons we can think of. Your healthy weight loss program can save your life. Yes, losing weight is a matter of life and death and if you are not committed to live longer the keep doing what you are doing. Whether it is heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, or really any disease you can think of, being overweight is a cause and losing weight is a cure. ther is study after study that prove excess fat is a contributing factor to shortened life expectancy. Whether we are in a recesion, depression or prosperous times, we have found a way to eat too much of the wrong stuff and gain weight. So if you want to live longer lose weight.

Prevent Cancer

I was watching Oprah ( my wife forced me to watch with her) and she interviewed 85 year old billionaire businessman David Murdock who plans to live to be at least 125 years old. Mr. Murdock can do 50 pushups without stopping at 85. How many can you do? Over 2o years ago Mr. Murdock lost his wife to cancer. In his search to try to save her. Using all his millions to research and try to find a cure for cancer he found out it was too late for her. But, the reason she got cancer was that they were simply not eating right. You would think they ate the best of everything. In fact God gave us all the best of everything. Genesis 1:29 states he gaves all the fruit, vegetables, herbs, seeds, and nuts as the food that would be meet to us. So after spending millions David Murdock realized that his main problem was to eat a diet that consisted mainly of fruit and vegetables. They took a look at his average daily diet and he had an egg white vegetarian omelet for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and another salad with fish for dinner. Throughout the day he would have 3 or 4 fruit juice or smoothies. Now I have not spent millions of dollars but that sounds like my daily diet. It sounds very similar to what I advise everyone I talk to. What he did not say, yet they showed it, he is very active and he exercises regularly.

My Motivation

David Murdock had a similar motivation to me. We both had people who were close to us succumb to cancer. We both began to search and learn as much as we could on how to prevent cancer and live longer, starting with trying to help our loved ones. He los his wife, I lost my father. During our research we both came up with the same solution. That is we need to eat a healthy diet, lose weight and exercise regularly to live longer. David and I both changed our lives and our eating habits. the difference is that David is a billionaire and had unlimited resources and I have the internet and the library. David talked to and hired the best medical minds, I read their books and articles. But to put it simply we all need a weight loss program that we we will eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and take a natural nutritional supplement to enhance our diets. David has been successfully doing this for 20 years. I have for a year. I have lost 40 puonds and kept it off. David says he needs no medicine and has no medical problems not even a cold. David is my hero and God has showm me that I am on the right path. You can be also. The choice is yours.

Healthy Weight Loss Program.

Breakfast is essential for a healthy weight loss program. To meet your weight loss goals you must break fast every morning with a healthy breakfast to help your energy, stimulate your mind, excite your metabolism and just get you going on the right foot to start your day. Here are four quick healthy breakfast recipes to help you start the day off right.

Oatmeal.

This very simple 5 minute meal is great for nutrition and helps lower cholesterol. Oatmeal is a whole grain that is good for you and when prepare properly gives you a complete breakfast. First of all choose old fashion or quick but avoid instant if you can. Instant oatmeal is a processed food with preservatives and additives not found in the old fashion or quick versions. I use the one serving size; which is 1/2 cup of oatmeal to one cup of water. If you choose to add salt use sea salt. Follow the simple directions on the box to cook on the stove top or microwave (they are equally healthy). When you serve use butter sparingly and do not add sugar. I add raisins and fresh fruit. You can choose blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, apples or peaches. Any sweet fruit to your taste. The try a few walnuts, pecans or almonds. This variety allows me to eat oatmeal 2 to 3 times a week. some people eat it every day, but i like variety.

Bowl of Fruit.

Fruit is full of energy, fiber and some protein. One quick, delicious and nutritious breakfast is to add a variety of fresh fruit cut up in a bowl and serve like cold cereal with or without low fat milk. Berries are particularly healthy full of antioxidants and they give you a good energy boosts. Blueberries, Strawberries and raspberries are my favorite. any fruit will do. My breakfast fruit bowls literally consist of whatever fruit I have at the time, which is almost always berries, citrus fruits, melons, bananas and apples of course. So you see there is lots of variety there and any fruit you use is right.

Vegetarian Omelet or Scramble.

Like a fruit bowl my omelets are a concoction of whatever fruit I have available. My staples are onions (all types); red green and yellow peppers; chopped fresh garlic cloves, broccoli, cauliflower and spinach or other dark leafy vegetable. Women should not eat more than one egg a week and men ca have two. So that means a one egg omelet for women and two egg omelet for men. You can add a little low fat milk if need be. I chop my fresh vegetables of the day and put them in the warm skillet which has been heated with a tablespoon or two of olive oil. I quickly add my scrambled eggs that have been seasoned with Mrs. Dash Salt Free Seasonings. I especially like the spicy variety. otherwise I just add cayenne pepper. I also like a little jalapeno peppers and almost always tomatoes. As mentioned earlier, whatever vegetables are available. Top your omelet off with a little shredded cheese if you choose along with salsa. In five to ten minutes you have a great nutritious breakfast.

Meal Replacement Shake.

I promised four complete healthy nutritious breakfast recipes and one of my favorites is the Advocare Meal Replacement Shakes.  Simply blend one package with 9 ounces of water and you have a complete meal that provides a complete nourishing meal in 2 minutes. I love fruit and I add fruit to the shake. Frozen fruit is nearly as nutritious as fresh and quite often is cheaper, especially in the off season. Three to five minutes and you have prepared and consumed one of the healthiest nutritious breakfast you can have.

Healthy Breakfast.

Four healthy breakfast recipes for your healthy weight loss program that all take less than 15 minutes to prepare. There is no reason to skip the most important meal of the day. All you need to do is to be prepared and add lots of fresh fruit and vegetables to your shopping list. Get Oatmeal and Advocare Meal Replacement Shakes and breakfast is complete.

Be Blessed. Be a Blessing. Yes You Can Lose Weight.
