High Fiber Diet Prevents Cancer.
In a recent study by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) High Fiber Diets may prevent colon cancer. These results come from a Polyp Prevention Trial and shows that high fiber diets prevent the formation of polyps. These polyps are often the first sign of colon cancer. In the past many other test had mixed results. This report focused on those participants who had high fruit and vegetable diets. This confirms what I consistently say that we all need a high fiber low fat diet.
High Fiber Low Fat Diet.
I know that this way of eating reduces the risk of cancer. There have been many studies to show people who eat primarily fresh fruit and vegetables have a much lower instance of colon or any type of cancer. I propose that we should eat 60% to 70% of our total calories as fresh fruit and vegetables. Whole grains, nuts and beans make up the healthy diets God gave us as the plant life that he said is best for us. If you choose to eat meat choose lean beef, fish and or poultry. This study shows that the risk of cancer can be greatly reduced based on our diets.
Healthy – a diet high in fiber and low in fat. Not only does these eating habits promote weight loss because of the minimum fat but the fiber keeps you regular and helps clean your colon. This means there are less toxic waste in your system and less chance for disease. So this diet not only prevents cancer but reduces the risks of all disease. This has been confirmed by this study and others. The reason of the mixed results with other tests is they did not focus on people eating primarily fruit and vegetables.
Healthy Diet.
What we eat determines our health. It is important that you focus on eating the things that nourish and build your resistance to disease. This is a high fiber low fat diet. This is fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and beans. If you add herbs and spices you include the basis of our medicines. The basis of wholistic medicine.

I subscribe to the PRCM Newsletter as well as other health and medical to see what we are learning that God already told us was so. God said I gave you fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and beans for meat (paraphrase Genesis 1:29). Physicians and Medical research is important, but I do not need them to confirm what God has told me. What Gos says that I have given you fruit and vegetables (a high fiber low fat diet) and it will nourish your body and keep you healthy.
