<p><strong>Weight Loss Program</strong></p>
<p>An essential part of a successful weight loss program is that you eat to lose weight. Advocare Meal Replacement Shake helps you accomplish that goal. We all need to eat 5 to 6 meals a day. Starting with breakfast and every 2 to 3 hours after that. Small meals eaten 2 to 3 hours apart keeps our bodies energized and our metabolism high without us feeling bloated or being stuffed because we overate at any one meal. We should eat breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and an evening snack.  A meal is the time we nourish our bodies with the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients we need to function properly. If we keep that in mind and realize that we eat for purpose. Then blindly putting food into our system that has no nutritional purpose and may even harm us will not be the bad habit we may have today.</p>
<p><strong>Advocare Meal Replacement Shake</strong></p>
<p>Comes in pouches and is a powder that you mix with water to provide a complete nutritional meal if you are on the go and do not have time to prepare a good meal. You get about 5 to 6 grams of fiber, 24 grams of protein and 26 vitamins and minerals with only 220 calories. That is about the same amount of calories in one and a half servings of a creamy salad dressing. The key is that you are naturally energizing your body without adding unnecessary calories. The key ingredients include protein, fiber, iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, zinc, Vitamin A, potassium, riboflavin, vitamin C and B-12.</p>
<p><strong>How I use it</strong></p>
<p>Generally I have a meal replacement shake in the morning. I add strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and or a banana into the blender and mix a package with 8 to 9 ounces of water and I have a very nutritious breakfast. In essence the meal replacement shake is like a multivitamin with fiber and protein that will provide you a complete meal without all the calories. <p>There are so many people who realize that they must lose weight for health reasons that the weight loss industry is booming. Even when most of the economy is suffering the number of people looking for the magical weight loss formula the companies who market weight loss solutions, pills, potions and lotions are doing well. That being said all programs do not lead to &#8220;healthy&#8221; weight  loss if they help you lose weight at all. They is simple and the formula has not changed.</p>
<p><strong>The Healthy Weight Loss Formula</strong></p>
<p>Regardless what you see on television or on the Internet, what one must do to achieve healthy weight loss has not changed. These are the 2 mandatory steps and an optional third step.</p>
<ol>
<li>Eat a healthy high fiber, low fat diet that is primarily (if not completely) fresh fruit and vegetables.</li>
<li>Exercise regularly doing both cardiovascular exercise and resistance training.</li>
<li>Add nutritional vitamin supplements to augment your healthy diet.</li>
</ol>
<p>This is the formula and it has not changed since the beginning of time. Yes their are additional things we all must do but these are the 3 main ingredients to the magic formula. If anyone or any program suggest otherwise I would look else where for nutritional and health advice.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Ingredients for &#8220;The Formula&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>Not only do we need to eat a nutritious diet, exercise regularly and take nutritional supplements, we must add the following ingredients to make the healthy weight loss formula complete.</p>
<ol>
<li>Drink Plenty of water daily. Half of your weight in ounces (if you weigh 150 lbs drink 75 ozs) is recommended.</li>
<li>Sleep, Sleep, Sleep. Eight hours is recommended.</li>
<li>Fresh Air. We need oxygen. Fresh air provides oxygen and much more.</li>
<li>Sunlight. The sun rejuvenates us and helps our bodies produce Vitamin D and more.</li>
</ol>
<p>The Pattern is clear. The things God Gave us in the beginning, are the things that we need for a healthy lifestyle today. Try it for yourself. Read Genesis 1 and tell me whether God gave us all we need and all he gave us was healthy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>My 3 Day Fruit Fast.</strong></p>
<p>Yesterday was a good day. I stayed true and strong on my 3 day fresh fruit fast. I ate a lot of fruit that was a variety. I drank plenty of water and a couple of cups of green tea. The exercise was good not great. One issue I had is my stretching was limited and I need to focus on the stretch and resistance training today. My devotion time was rich and I believe God gave me great insight into His Word and His Heart. I look forward to the fasting and prayer today. Yesterday was a very good day.</p>
<p><a href="http://healthyweightloss4babyboomers.com/healthy-weight-loss-program#utm_source=feed&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=feed" target="_blank"><strong>Healthy Weight Loss Program.</strong></a></p>
<p>Eating a healthy diet is an essential<strong> </strong>part of my healthy weight loss program. Fasting and prayer are also. As I focus on God my mind is set at peace and any focus on the anxieties of life is removed and I am therefore free of stress to pursue the things God has called me to pursue. That is to fast and pray. This is my healthy weight loss program. Today I have a special focus on resistance training and stretching while I stay committed to my devotion, drinking plenty of water and healthy eating on this day 2 of my 3 day fruit fast.</p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Day 2<br />
</strong></span></h2>
<h3>Early Morning (5:30 -8:30):</h3>
<p>Water: I got up late today. Started at 6 am instead of 5:30 am, again. I need that extra 30 minutes.  I had 2.5 glasses of water by 8:30</p>
<p>Fruit: I had watermelon and cantaloupe for breakfast and morning snack.</p>
<p>Exercise: One set of push-ups (50 total), 30 minutes on the the elliptical machine. Cardio every day for at least 30 minutes. Every other day is cardio day where my objective is 1400 calories.  Today is not a cardio day but my minimum goal is 600 calories. This makes the goal for the week at 6,000 calories.</p>
<p>Devotion: This was another reading day. I read Proverbs:26-30.  Prayer! Devotion ran about 20 minutes today.</p>
<h3>Mid-Morning (8:30 &#8211; 11:30):</h3>
<p>Water: 3 glasses of water and 1 cup of green tea.</p>
<p>Fruit: Bad mistake and left my fruit at home. no fruit.</p>
<p>Exercise: 1 set of push ups and a 1 mile walk to my office.</p>
<p>Devotion: The meditation scripture is -</p>
<blockquote><p>Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength&#8230; Deuteronomy 6:5</p></blockquote>
<p>I continue to pray for my boys in college.</p>
<h3>Afternoon (11:30 &#8211; 2:30):</h3>
<p>Water: 2 glasses</p>
<p>Fruit: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and grapes.</p>
<p>Exercise: 1 set of push ups (50) and 1 mile walk from the office.</p>
<p>Devotion: Continue to meditate on Deuteronomy 6:5 and pray for the boys.</p>
<h3>Late Afternoon (2:30-5:30)</h3>
<p>Water: 3 glass of water.</p>
<p>Fruit: Watermelon and a peach.</p>
<p>Exercise: Half an hour on my total gym.  1 set of push ups (50)</p>
<p>Devotion: Continue to pray for my boys and what my role in the life of these college men. Medita</p>
<p><strong>Evening (5:30 &#8211; 8:30)</strong></p>
<p>Water: 2 glasses</p>
<p>Fruit: Watermelon</p>
<p>Exercise: None, nap for 30 minutes and class tonight.</p>
<p>Devotion: Deuteronomy 30 continued.</p>
<h3>Night (after 8:30)</h3>
<p>Water: 1 glasses of water.</p>
<p>Fruit: None. In bed at 8 pm.</p>
<p>Exercise: None.</p>
<p>Devotion: Thank God for this day.</p>
