Fresh Fruit For Your 3 Day Fruit Fast

Three Day Fruit Fast.

Once a month I cleanse my body naturally. I do this by employing a three day fruit fast where I eat nothing but fruit for three days. I drink water, natural tea, or freshly juiced fruit juice. I will not drink any store bought juice because of the preservatives and additives. I only drink freshly juiced fruit juice.

The Purpose.

Frankly I wish I was a complete vegetarian. That way there would be no need for a fruit fast. But, since I am not I need to thoroughly cleanse my system monthly. My diet is 60% to 70% fruit and vegetables and I do not have the toxic build up I had in the past, but the benefits of the monthly natural cleansing are mental clarity and focus, increased fiber and improved regularity, better digestion and blood circulation. By doing this I will improve my kidneys, liver, and heart. Additionally, the fast will reduce the risk of heart disease, help prevent cancer, lower my blood pressure and cholesterol, and even help me drop a pound or two. As a part of my healthy weight loss program the three day fruit fast has a greater emphasis on the healthy to me versus the weight loss. Even though I will lose weight the purpose is to improve and maintain my health.

Advocare Herbal Cleanse Vs. 3 Day Fruit Fast.

I recommend the Advocare Herbal Cleanse. This product offers the same benefits of the fast plus more. It is a deeper whole body cleanse with natural nutritional vitamin supplements that when you properly follow the directions you will achieve a total body cleansing and greater weight loss. You should only do the Advocare Herbal Cleanse once a quarter. The other two months I would choose the three day fruit fast. Both are important to your healthy weight loss program.

How to Successfully Complete the 3 Day Fruit Fast.

Preparation is the key to success. You should eat a serving of fruit every other hour. That means about 6 to 8 times a day. A serving is about a handful of fruit. to be prepare first you shop. Make sure you purchase a wide variety of fruit. Then on a daily basis you prepare the serving size. If you purchased melons cut them up and refrigerate them so you can easily grab one serving every 2 hours.  The last key is to write in your journal every day what you eat and drink. Also journal the times you eat and drink. This helps keep you on schedule.

Drink Plenty of Water.

Whether you choose this is the month for me to cleanse my body by employing the Advocare Herbal Cleanse or following the eating only fresh fruit for three days it is very important to drink plenty of water every day. The water is essential to the cleansing process. The fruit or Advocare Herbal Cleanse my loosen unwanted waste in our bodies but the flow is aided by the water. So not only is water necessary as a lubricant our bodies are primarily water. Water enables every cell in our body to function properly and to reproduce itself properly. Without adequate water, sunlight and fresh air the mechanics of our bodies do not function properly. So my guide to drinking plenty of water during the three day fruit fast is to have a 6 to 8 ounce glass every hour. If you are drinking bottled water, be prepared to drink 5 to 6 bottles 1 liter bottles a day.

Increase Your Metabolism.

Finally, if you drink plenty of water and eat a serving of fruit every two hours you will not be hungry and you will not over eat. Another very important benefit is that your energy will increase, dramatically for some people, and you will have a higher metabolic rate.

So I am prepared, I have my water and fruit to make it through these three days. Today I begin my 3 day fruit fast.

There seems to be no hope in this world. Many People believe that there is no way to prevent cancer. They may be right, just like there is no way to prevent being hit by a car while crossing the street. But, by living a healthy lifestyle, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and adding natural nutritional supplements to complement your diet you can greatly reduce the risk of developing cancer. It was not until cancer became so prevalent in society that we created a category of healthy nutritious food and called them antioxidants. An antioxidant is any vitamin, mineral, enzyme, phytonutrient (plant nutrient) herb or food that has the ability to bind and neutralize free radicals. In other words antioxidants are the natural foods that God gave us to fight the abnormal cells that grow in our bodies with the potential to cause cancer (antioxidants fight and prevent cancer). Free radicals are not new to man. The fact that we do not eat right and get adequate exercise are the primary causes for the increase of cancer in our society today. These are the same causes of heart disease, diabetes, obesity and countless other diseases and medical conditions that plague us today.

  • Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Eat plenty phytonutrients found in carrots, broccoli, cabbage and greens.
  • Eat soybeans and soy products.
  • Drink Natural Teas like Green Tea, Oolong Tea and Puer Tea.
  • Drink Plenty of Water.
